The Upper Toccoa River is a wide, medium to large stream that winds  through private land and National Forest public land. The River is home  to the 13.8 mile Toccoa River Canoe Trail and provides excellent habitat  and fishing for brown and rainbow trout, as well as the occasional  native brookie.
